2009 PINOT NOIR Lone Oak Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highland
We purposely made this wine in a refined, yet unmistakable “pinot” style that combined ripe beautiful fruits from Santa Lucia Highland, with an old world “Bourgogne” careful balance. The 2009 Lone Oak fruits from 3 different clones were perfectly extracted to capture what Pinot should be about: slightly earthy black cherry, and blackberry flavors on a good core of refreshing acidity and balanced tannins.
